Well at the parties<\/a> of course!
\n<\/strong>There’s so much happening over summer, sometimes we have bands playing and you can simply watch and learn the way swing dances were originally spread: through copying others.<\/p>\n

If that’s too far out of your comfort zone or you’d prefer a little more clarity in your first attempts, that’s what the more organised forms of learning are for:<\/p>\n

Taster classes at parties<\/h4>\n

Sometimes we teach a a short class of swing basics right at the party so that newbies don’t get lost on the dancefloor:<\/p>\n

8th September at Biotop Radot\u00edn<\/a>, free taster<\/strong> after the first set of the band<\/p>\n

from the beginning of September every Wednesday<\/strong> at NTK 6.45\u20137.45 pm a full beginner level class<\/strong> for 250,\u2013
\n– no registration
\n– no partner
\n– no experience
\njust come<\/a> and learn something new every week<\/p>\n

Regular classes from 23rd September<\/h4>\n

LH1.1 Lindy intro<\/strong>
\nMondays 6.15\u20137.15 pm Ani\u010dka & Adam H.<\/a>
\nTuesdays 7.25\u20138.25 pm Zuzka & Martin K.<\/a>
\nWednesdays 7.25\u20138.25 pm D\u00e1\u0161a & Honza<\/a>
\n– by Christmas you’ll be at home in the most popular swing dance: Lindy Hop
\n– you’ll get to know a group of cool people who also want to dance
\n– together you’ll learn how not to get lost on the dancefloor and you can support each other at the parties<\/p>\n

Pohoda swing<\/strong>
\nMondays 18.00\u201319.00 \u00c1\u0148a & Fred<\/a>
\n– here you don’t have to worry about it being too difficult, there’ll be enough time for everyone
\n– you might not be a star in two weeks but you’ll enjoy the dance as a fun social activity
\n– this course will be taught in Czech<\/p>\n

Perhaps you’re interested in something other than Lindy Hop?<\/strong>
\nCS1.1<\/strong> Tuesdays 6.15\u20137.15 pm Zuzka & Martin K.<\/a>
\n– you’ll learn Collegiate Shag
\n– you’ll get to dance to higher tempos, might sweat a little but it’ll be so much fun you won’t even notice
\nCH1.1<\/strong> Tuesdays 8.35\u20139.35 pm \u0160\u00e1rka & Michal<\/a>
\n– you’ll learn 20s Charleston
\n– you’ll have something to dance to older, pre-swing music and learn to dance solo as well
\nSLS1.1<\/strong> Wednesdays 6.15\u20137.15 pm D\u00e1\u0161a & Honza<\/a>
\n– you’ll learn St. Louis Shag
\n– you’ll know how to handle swing as well as slightly later music and go crazy with the rhythm
\nBAL1.1<\/strong> Wednesdays 7.25\u20138.25 pm Ania & Pavel<\/a>
\n– you’ll learn Balboa
\n– you’ll master leading and following to the point of not needing big movement to enjoy the dance<\/p>\n

\nNot to worry! We’re also offering classes for children and parents this year, check it out<\/a>.<\/p>\n
